Get to Know JBA

Our Work with Youth, Families, and Adults

JBA works to educate parents and youth about the current substance use trends that are harming young people, and we teach them how to get help.

JBA strives to reduce shame and stigma by openly discussing substance challenges as a medical condition, not a moral failing.
By increasing protective factors through teaching, wellbeing, and positive mental health strategies we are preparing our youth and older community members important skills to help them along their life's journey.

JBA is dedicated to educating all members of the community how to recognize the signs and symptoms of Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and how and where to get help.
The Jefferson Berkeley Alliance works hard to support community members who struggle with SUD in many ways, including advocacy, linkage to care, supporting harm reduction efforts, and recognizing the full spectrum of substance use and recovery.

YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN THE JEFFERSON BERKELEY ALLIANCE IN OUR PREVENTION EFFORTS! IN AS LITTLE AS TWO HOURS A MONTH YOU COULD MAKE A LARGE IMPACT IN YOUR COMMUNITY!
